Naugatuck Woman Charged After Fatal Hit-And-Run Accident: PD

WATERBURY, CT — Dominique Caraway, 26, of Naugatuck is accused of a fatal hit-and-run accident involving Henry Pearson, 69, which occurred early Saturday in Waterbury on North Main Street, the Connecticut Post reports.

Police say she tried to say her car was stolen in order to avoid being charged, the CT Post reports. She is facing several charges including evading responsibility and falsely reporting a motor vehicle theft. Pearson was crossing the rode at the time of the accident.
