Naugatuck Woman Charged With Assault: Police

NAUGATUCK, CT — A Naugatuck woman, Mariah Laticia Miles, 27, of Anderson Street is facing a few charges after being involved in a domestic dispute, police said.

At 4:45 a.m. on Nov. 29, police responded to a home and investigation revealed that Miles became involved in an argument with the victim that escalated and became physical when, according to the victim, the accused scratched the victim's face, police said.

Miles was initially held in lieu of a $1,000 bond and is charged with third-degree assault, second-degree breach of peace and third-degree criminal mischief.
