Naugatuck Woman Hits Man with Tree Branch: Police
Police say the incident occurred early Monday.

NAUGATUCK, CT — A 20-year-old local woman is accused of hitting man with a tree branch near Ion Bank, police said.
Police said at 12:11 a.m. on Jan. 15 officers responded to New Haven Road near Ion Bank for a domestic disturbance. Upon speaking to subjects involved they advised that they had become involved in an argument that turned physical when Lisa N. Suggs, 20, of Hoadley Street, pushed the victim and struck him with a tree, police said.
Suggs is charged with breach of peace and released after posting a $1,500 bond.
