Naugatuck Woman Stole $56,000 From Victim: Police
The accused is being held in lieu of a $25,000 bond.
NAUGATUCK, CT β A Naugatuck woman is accused of stealing more than $56,000 from a victim, police say. On Feb. 27, Rachel Groll, 29, of Salem Street, was arrested on an active arrest warrant.
The warrant was from a larceny and fraud incident that was reported to the Naugatuck Police Department on December 13, 2018 in which the accused took approximately $56,302.56 from the victim, police said. The accused was arrested and held on a $25,000 bond.
She is charged with first-degree larceny, conspiracy to commit first-degree larceny, first-degree identity theft, conspiracy to commit first-degree identity theft, third-degree forgery, third-degree burglary, conspiracy to commit third-degree burglary, and conspiracy to commit third-degree forgery.
