Naugatuck Woman Stole Package From Victim's Mailbox: Police
The package's value was less than $15, police said.

NAUGATUCK, CT — Police say a Naugatuck woman is accused of stealing a package from the victim's mailbox.
Police said at 4:44 p.m. on June 2 officers responded to a larceny complaint in the Borough. Maria Fernandes, 70, of Wooster Street, is accused of stealing a package from the victim's mailbox, police said.
The package was delivered by UPS and was valued at $13.95, police said. She was given a court date of June 15 and charged with sixth-degree larceny.
