Naugatuck Youth Released Pepper Spray While Students Wait for the Bus: Police

NAUGATUCK, CT — A juvenile has been charged with third-degree assault after spraying pepper spray while other students were waiting for the school bus Monday morning, police said.
Police said at 7:40 a.m. Monday officers responded to a juvenile complaint involving a juvenile who sprayed pepper spray while other students were waiting for the bus.
The juvenile sprayed the pepper spray into the air but not directly at anyone, police said. The youth was released to his father, police said.
