Naugatuck's Female Police Officers Honored For Their Service

NAUGATUCK, CT — The Naugatuck Police Department is honoring the female members of the Police Department today in recognition of International Women's Day.

"The point being that their dedication to their profession demonstrates that they not only decided to pursue a challenging profession but also have all flourished in their respective careers. When asked this week if any of them had thoughts on this, they shrugged it off but recognized those women in law enforcement who went before them as a direct reason they were able to succeed and as a decision why they chose their careers in policing.
