Naugatuck's New Tax Assessor is on the Job
The borough raised the salary for the position by $30,000 in an effort to secure the best person for the job.

Naugatuck’s new Assessor Carol Ann Tyler is now on the job and officials have praised her experience and what she’ll bring to the job.
Tyler comes aboard after past concerns were raised about the office, and questions over the accuracy of the grand list, reports the Republican-American.
Tyler will be paid $30,000 more than the prior full-time assessor and earn an annual salary of $87,000.
