Please join Naugatuck Youth Services and Step Up Naugy: Naugatuck's Prevention Coalition for their annual fall clean-up - community-wide this year! This is a great opportunity for high school students to get in community service hours and for students to do something to give back to the community on Election Day when there is no school!

Clean up day duties include litter pick up, trash removal, and leaf raking and hedge trimming where applicable. Trash bags and disposable gloves will be provided. Feel free to bring rakes, hedge clippers, gardening/work gloves, etc. if you would like. Lunches will also be provided to volunteers under 18 who sign up in advance. Youth over the age of 13 are welcome to come on their own with parent permission, and youth 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult or responsible older sibling.

Volunteers will be asked to dress for the weather, including wearing appropriate layers and footwear. In case of rain, the event will be moved to Wednesday November 11, which is Veteran's Day and another day off from school.

Public health regulations including social distancing and wearing face coverings will be enforced to keep everyone as safe as possible.
