Naugy Softball Improves to 7-1
The Greyhounds looked impressive in a win over Crosby Thursday afternoon.

The Naugatuck High School softball team improved its record to 7-1 on the season, 7-0 in the Naugatuck Valley League, with a win over Crosby High School of Waterbury Thursday afternoon.
The Greyhounds used 16 hits to defeat Crosby 13-1 on the road.
Grethen Hale had two hits, including a home run, scored two runs and had two RBI. Amy Dietz had three hits, three runs scored and two RBIs. Erica Bohuski had three hits and three RBIs.

Erik Andreoli had two hits, a double and scored a run. Shannon Searles and Sarah Chandler each had two hits, two RBIs and scored a run. Gillian Fortier had a hit, scored three runs and an RBI.
Nina Koscuiszek (4-1) pitched all seven innings for Oxford and allowed just three hits, while striking out nine.
