Neighbor Dispute Leads To An Arrest: Naugatuck Police

NAUGATUCK, CT — A Naugatuck woman, Enid Yamilette Velez, 23, of Dunn Avenue is accused of slapping a person and throwing the victim's flowers across the driveway, police said.

At 12:55 p.m. on Dec. 8, officers responded to a report of a neighbor complaint. Police said Velez became involved in an argument with the victim that escalated and became physical when, according to the victim, the accused slapped the victim across the face. The accused also threw the victim's flowers across the driveway, police added.

Velez is charged with second-degree breach of peace and was released on a promise to appear in court on Dec. 18.
