New Details Of Rejected Naugatuck Schools Contract Released

A hearing will be held on the school administrators contract Monday.

NAUGATUCK, CT — A hearing is being held today concerning a potential new contract with the Borough and school administrators, My Citizen's News reports.

The administrators and Board of Education had reached agreement on a new three-year contract but it was rejected by the Board of Mayor and Burgesses.

The deal would have given administrators a 2 percent pay hike in the first year followed by 2.2 percent raises in both the second and third year.
