There’s lots more to come in the New Year!

Thank you for joining us for over 60 online programs this fall on our virtual platform, thequicklive.com, many of which are now available for viewing on our archives! We hope you have a safe and peaceful holiday season.

As we look ahead to 2021, the Quick will continue to provide the highest caliber of programming that is easy and safe to view from the comfort of home. We will announce our 2021 season line-up in January with over 50 online programs, but in the meantime we thought we could give a few teasers to get you excited for what’s to come. Our Open VISIONS Forum series will feature the 2018 Nobel Peace Prize Laureate, Nadia Murad, as part of the Fairfield University Annual Student Forum, and New York Times bestseller, Tara Westover, for the Bank of America Women and Leadership Series. In addition, both the OVF Espresso series and Open MINDS Institute will return with an international array of guests. The Quick will also present engaging and exciting artists such as the acclaimed chamber orchestra, Sphinx Virtuosi, for concerts and performances to brighten the winter season.

We are also pleased to continue our community and campus collaborations offering expert speakers, Fairfield University faculty, and artists. Partners will include the Fairfield University Art Museum, the Fredrickson Family Innovation Lab, the Humanities Institute: HINDSIGHT 2020 series, the #UNLOAD Foundation, and many more.

Though we can’t wait until the day when we can welcome you back through the doors of the Quick, we invite you to continue to log on, tune in, make dinner, enjoy a learning lunch, listen while you work, and enjoy the Quick’s online programming as part of your day-to-day way of staying connected, inspired, and part of the Quick’s community of like-minded arts lovers.

Oh Brother, Not Another Holiday Special hosted by Miggs and Trace Burroughs

Monday, December 21 | 7 p.m.

Get in the spirit with a fun live show featuring Martha Stewart, hilarious celebrity animations including Liam Neeson’s personal message to the hosts, top ten most uplifting stories of 2020, Backtrack singers do Hendrix, renowned psychic “Miss Liz” answers viewer questions and lots more! This jammed packed variety show is co-produced by the Westport Library and the Quick.

• 50,000 K-12 students served through educational programs including our School Matinee Series, workshops, and masterclasses

We are almost halfway through our annual campaign – we have the HAPPY, now we just need the BIRTHDAY candles. Your contribution to this appeal — in any amount — will make an important difference in the continuation of programming at the Quick.

Please note, the Quick Box Office will be closed December 19 in observance of the holiday season and will reopen on January 4.
