NPD Holds Third Annual National Night Out at Linden Park

The annual event was well-attended and fun for everyone.

The Naugatuck Police Department sponsored their third annual National Night Out at Linden Park on Tuesday evening. The event was made possible by generous local sponsors.

Because the parking was anticipated to fill up quickly, additional parking was available at the Naugatuck Event Center, with a shuttle continuously running to and from Linden Park. Officers were stationed at both locations to assist.

There was food, fun, raffles, music and more at the event, all of which was FREE to our community. Chris from @snappersskateandtackle gave free skateboarding lessons at the new skatepark.

The special guest Chef for National Night was Frank of DeRocco's Wiches Bagels and Brew. He served up a storm of hot dogs and burgers alongside Detective McGarvey. Friends at the Naugatuck Professional Firefighters - IAFF Local 1219 had their famous fried dough.
