I had the opportunity to listen to a preview of the very first episode of 'Nutmeg Junction.' The premiere introduces the recurring characters performed by talented voice actors in the old time radio style. I loved the original title song and the live musical segment by Robert C. Fullerton. The fun segment of Blaze Jackson: Galaxy Adjuster featured clever insurance wordplay written by Mr. Quirk. Those old enough to remember when old time radio programs were all the rage will appreciate the authentic sound effects by the resident Foley artist. Perhaps my favorite part was the preview of the upcoming 'It Shoulda Been You' by the Goshen Players. I delighted in hearing the familiar voices of J. Timothy Quirk, the inimitable Josh Newey and other actors that I recognize from local stages. I am so looking forward to being a part of this homage to old time radio programs.
