NVCC Hosting Manufacturing Technology Information Sessions, Tours

Naugatuck Valley Community College is hosting on-campus manufacturing information sessions and tours

WATERBURY, Conn. - Naugatuck Valley Community College is hosting on-campus manufacturing information sessions and tours on Monday, August 2 at 11:00 AM and Wednesday, August 4 at 5:30 PM in Technology Hall Room T509 at the Waterbury campus.

The sessions are an opportunity to learn more about NVCC’s manufacturing technology degree programs, financial aid, scholarships, and bachelor’s degree transfer opportunities. The Manufacturing Program at NVCC includes paid internships and job placement services for students. Deirdre D’Amore, Enrollment/Retention Specialist for NVCC’s manufacturing programs noted that “the information sessions really make a difference for potential students because it gives them an opportunity to see the whole picture of a manufacturing career, and how to plan for it.”

Students may start courses in August for associate degrees and certificates in Machine Technology with full- and part-time options. Students who enroll full-time earn a credential in just one semester. Visit https://nv.edu/Academics/Acade... for more information on NVCC’s manufacturing programs. To register for information session please contact Deirdre D’Amore, Enrollment/Retention Specialist at ddamore@nv.edu or call 203-575-8014.
