WATERBURY, CT - Naugatuck Valley Community College (NVCC) is making it easy for new and returning students to tour the college, obtain advising, participate in financial aid workshops, arrange payment plans, and get registered all in one day. And, if students and their families need to get vaccinated against COVID-19, they can do that as well! On Saturday, August 21st, from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, one-stop enrollment and a COVID-19 vaccination clinic will be held at the Waterbury campus in Technology Hall. NVCC’s Danbury campus will also host a one-stop enrollment event on Saturday, August 21.

Designed to meet the demands of new and continuing students, the Saturday enrollment events offer both in-person and virtual advising and information. Fall semester classes begin on Thursday, August 26, 2021, and students are encouraged to register and take advantage of the academic advising and enrollment assistance offered by this event. Advising is recommended for all students and required for new students. Sign up for an appointment here: https://nv.edu/Admissions-and-... New students must bring a photo ID, high school diploma, and proof of immunization records.

Students will also learn about NVCC’s academic programs, including the Advanced Manufacturing program, as well as the many Continuing Education and Workforce opportunities that offer non-credit certificate options.

No appointment is necessary, and individuals do not need to have health insurance or a state-issued ID. No one will be turned away! Both Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson vaccines will be offered.

The Connecticut Board of Regents for Higher Education (BOR) recently put forth new COVID-19 vaccination requirements for students returning to campus this fall. Please review the requirements at https://www.ct.edu/covid19#faqs.
