NVCC Nursing Program Ranks Among Top Colleges in the Northeast

NAUGATUCK - Naugatuck Valley Community College (NVCC)’s Nursing Program has once again been ranked a top program in the Northeast by NursingProcess.org. NursingProcess.org evaluated the 536 schools in the Northeast currently offering Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) programs. https://www.nursingprocess.org... To develop their list, NursingProcess.org reviewed data from the nursing schools and ranked them based on four principal factors, NCLEX-RN pass rates, academic quality, the nursing school’s reputation, and affordability. Based on these criteria NVCC’s ADN Program was ranked number 12 in the top 15 nursing schools in the Northeast, and first among Connecticut’s community colleges that offer nursing programs.
Housed in NVCC’s Founders Hall Center for Health Sciences, the college’s nursing program provides students with high-quality instruction and clinical learning experiences. Graduates are sought after by local employers, consistently earn accolades for their preparedness in the nursing field, and many go on to earn bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing.
