NVCC Springs into the Arts with Upcoming Events for the Community

The community is invited to the following events at Naugatuck Valley Community College, 740 Chase Parkway. All are free except as noted.

Art Exhibition, Dance Performance, Music, Performance of Play, “Love Sick”

WATERBURY, Conn. – The community is invited to the following events at Naugatuck Valley Community College, 740 Chase Parkway. All are free except as noted. During inclement weather, checknv.edu, since events will be canceled or postponed if the College is closed.

April 26, 12:30-2:30 PM: Student Art Exhibit and Reception: Opening Reception for NVCC’s Student Spring Art Exhibit in the Leever Atrium. Exhibit on display April 23 through April 30.

April 26, 6:00 – 8:30 PM: Fresh Ink Literary Magazine Publication and Awards Ceremony. ­ Join the celebration for the 49th consecutive publication of Fresh Ink, NVCC’s literary magazine, in T531, the Technology Hall Dining Room

April 25, April 27, and April 28, 7:30 PM: Performances of Play, Love Sick. Take advantage of one of these evenings to see scenes from Love Sick, a play by John Cariani, in NVCC’s Playbox Theatre, directed by theater students. Suggested Donation: $10

April 26, 7:00 PM, held at Waterbury’s Palace Theater, NVCC’s dancers are performing with WAMS dancers at their spring showcase. Advance tickets are $5; at the door $7.50.

April 27, 7:00 PM: NVCC’s Music Spring Showcase. Held on the Mainstage. Free!

May 3 & 4, 7:30 PM: Spring Dance Concert. Held on the Mainstage. Suggested donation: $10. Concessions are $1.00 and raffle tickets are $3-$5.00
