WOLCOTT, CT – Alyce T. Ouellette, age 99, of Wolcott, passed away peacefully in her sleep on her birthday Wednesday February 10, 2021. She was the widow Arthur Ouellette.

Alyce was born February 10, 1921 in NYC, NY the daughter of the late Charles H. and Claribel (Fleming) Thomas. Alyce Graduated from Crosby High School and Post College with honors. She spent many years working as a secretary for various insurance companies, boards and commissions at Wolcott Town Hall, and for Edgewood cemetery. She was a voracious reader and loved doing crossword puzzles. Her hobbies included knitting and ceramics. She will be sadly missed by all who were blessed to have known and loved her.

Left to honor and cherish Alyce’s love and legacy are by her children Steven Ouellette of Florida, Alan Ouellette of New Jersey and Chris of Wolcott, her niece Cathy Thomas of Southbury and her children, Robert Thornton and several nieces and nephews.

A private graveside burial will be at the convenience of the family in Edgewood Cemetery in Wolcott where she will be laid to rest with her husband Arthur. There are no calling hours at Casey’s Eastside Memorial Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 1987 East Main St Waterbury, CT 06705. Has been honored to care for Alyce and the Ouellette family during this difficult time.
