Anita R. SantaLucia, age 79, of Waterbury, passed away peacefully on December 2, 2021 at the VITAS Hospice Unit at St. Mary's Hospital.

Anita was born May 13, 1942 in Waterbury, CT, a daughter of the late Caesar and Grace (Guerrera) SantaLucia. She was a graduate of Waterbury Catholic High School and Pratt Institute with a Bachelor of Arts Degree. Prior to her retirement, Anita had worked for the State of Connecticut as a teacher for the blind.
She leaves her sister, Angela Gartz and her husband, Kaj of Milford, her niece, Melissa Wade and nephews, Kaj-Michael Gartz, Erik Gartz, and Parker SantaLucia.

Arrangements: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, April 8, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception, 74 West Main St., Waterbury, CT. Please meet directly at the church. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Watertown. There are no calling hours
