Obituary: Barbara A. (Boisvert) Becker, 85, of Waterbury

WATERBURY- Barbara A. (Boisvert) Becker, 85, wife of the late Philip Becker Sr., passed away on Friday, October 20, 2023 at Bristol Hospital.
Born in Waterbury on January 25, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Emile and Florence (Blair) Boisvert. Barbara worked at Sears and Roebuck in the paint department for over 18 years. She enjoyed crafting and duck pin bowling in the Universal Bowling League at Perrillo’s.

Barbara is survived by her son Philip Becker Jr. and his wife Barbara, her daughter Beth Barlow, her brother Eugene and his wife Joyce Boisvert, and her four grandchildren Alexandra Becker, BriAnna Rubbo, Alyssa Rubbo, Joseph Barlow. She will also be missed by her two sons-in-law Dan Rubbo and Mark Barlow, her god daughter Patricia Leduc and Nicole Ibrus who was considered as a 5th grandchild.
In addition to her husband Philip Becker Sr., Barbara was predeceased by her daughter Lori Rubbo, sisters Anita Browning and Corrine Salvi. Barbara requested that her beloved Yorkshire terrier “Pita” be remembered in her obituary and that Memorial Contributions be made to any Animal Rescue or Shelter.

Graveside Services will be held on Saturday, October 28th at 11:30 AM at New Pine Grove Cemetery 850 Meriden Rd. in Waterbury. Calling hour will be on Saturday morning from 10 to 11 AM at Woodtick Memorial 420 Woodtick Rd. in Wolcott.
