“Loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister”

Belinda Haxhi, age 57, of Rocky Hill, formerly of Middlebury, passed away peacefully on May 24, 2022 at her home with her family by her side. She was the beloved wife of Fredi Haxhi.
Belinda was born January 15, 1965 in Resen, Macedonia, a daughter of Hysen and Idaet (Kamberi) Iljazi. Belinda was working as a phlebotomist and monitor technician at Waterbury Hospital. She loved gardening and spending time at her second home in Florida but found her greatest joy being with and spending time with her family.

Besides her husband of 33 years of Rocky Hill, she leaves her son, Jeffrey Haxhi of Rocky Hill, her daughter, Alicia McCutcheon and her husband, Zachary of Rocky Hill, her brother, Leonard Iljazi and his wife, Suzanna of Madison, WI, her sister, Shpresa Ukmata of Verona, WI, her granddaughter, Zoey McCutcheon, her brothers-in-law, Albert Haxhi of Waterbury, Nexhat Hoxha of Macedonia, her sister-in-law, Tefta H. Bushka and her husband, Kenneth and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Luljeta Hoxha and a brother-in-law Afrim Ukmata.

Arrangements: Funeral services for Belinda will be held on Saturday, May 28, 2022 at 10 a.m. at Chase Parkway Memorial/Albini Family Funeral Home, 430 Chase Parkway, Waterbury, CT. Burial will follow at New Pine Grove Cemetery. Calling hours will be on Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
