“Beloved mother, grandmother & great grandmother”
Naugatuck, CT - Betty (Kenez) Barna, age 99, of Naugatuck and formerly of Norwalk, passed away peacefully on December 26, 2020 at the Glendale Center in Naugatuck. She was the beloved widow of Alexander Barna.

Betty was born in Norwalk, CT on October 11, 1921 daughter of the late Joseph and Goldie May (Hendricks) Kenez. Before her retirement she worked as a legal secretary for the Olin Corporation. She was a dedicated member of St. George’s Church in Middlebury and helped the church with the Gingerbread Village.
Betty is survived by her sons, David Barna and his wife, Deborah of Naugatuck, CT and Peter Barna and his wife, Chiara, of Wappinger Falls, NY. She also leaves three grandchildren, Alexander Barna, Jeffrey Barna and his wife, Kari, and Katherine Gonyo, and four great grandchildren, Lauren, Adrian, Ray and Alexander.

Arrangements: A graveside service with Betty’s cremains will be held at a later time and date to be determined at Riverside Cemetery, 81 Riverside Ave., Norwalk, CT. There are no calling hours. Chase Parkway Memorial/The Albini Family Funeral Home, 430 Chase Parkway, Waterbury, CT has been entrusted with her arrangements.
