Brenda Lea Negaro, 82, of Prospect, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 11, 2021 at Yale New Haven Hospital. She was the beloved widow of Anthony Negaro, her husband of 59 before his passing in 2019.

Brenda was born July 17, 1939 in Waterbury, a daughter of the late Josephine (Guiditta) Anderson and John Anderson. She was a graduate of Wilby High School. Prior to her retirement in 2000, Brenda worked as an office manager at Stop & Shop Supermarkets for over 25 years. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who found her greatest joy whenever she was in the company of her family. She will be greatly missed by those who were blessed to know and love her.

Brenda leaves behind to cherish her memory her children, Lynn Negaro and her fiancée, Rick Nemec of Southington, Craig Negaro and his wife, Marie of Prospect, Gina Campbell and her husband, Christopher of Harwinton, seven grandchildren, Melissa, Anthony, Lauren, Stephanie, Allison, Gregory and Abby Jo and four great grandchildren, Noelle, Luca, Rose and Blake.

Arrangements: Brenda’s funeral will be held on Monday, August 16 at 10 am at Chase Parkway Memorial/The Albini Family Funeral Home, 430 Chase Parkway, Waterbury, CT. Burial will follow in Prospect Cemetery. Calling hours Monday from 8 to 10 a.m. at the funeral home.
