Obituary: Carol (McKenna) Renzullo, 75, of Goshen

Carol (McKenna) Renzullo, 75, of Goshen, CT, peacefully passed away on December 6, 2022, at John Dempsey Hospital. She was the beloved wife of Anthony “Tony” Renzullo for 50 years.

Carol was born February 22, 1947, in Waterbury, CT, the daughter of the late Thomas and Mae (Hammel) McKenna. She, along with her husband Tony, owned Carbone’s Market for 45 years.
Carol loved to cook, garden, spend time at Cape Cod and enjoy cruises. She loved her family unconditionally, and her granddaughter, Isabella, was the apple of her eye.

In addition to her husband Tony, she is survived by one son, Eric Renzullo of Goshen, CT, a granddaughter, Isabella Renzullo, and a brother-in-law Thomas Zanauskas of SC. She was preceded in death by one sister, Patricia Zanauskas.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at Cook Funeral Home, 82 Litchfield St., Torrington, CT, with Msgr. Robert F. Tucker officiating. Burial will follow at Hillside Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call on Monday, December 12, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Cook Funeral Home.
