Obituary: Carolyn E. Fuhrman of Bethlehem

She was employed by the City of Waterbury as an accountant for the Bureau of Water for 30 years before her retirement.

BETHLEHEM - Carolyn E. Fuhrman, wife of the late William A. Fuhrman, passed away Tuesday, September 27, 2022, at Waterbury Hospital.
Mrs. Fuhrman was born in North Adams, Mass., on June 23, 1939, daughter of the late Richard and Carolyn Levernosh. She was employed by the City of Waterbury as an accountant for the Bureau of Water for 30 years before her retirement. She was also employed by Connecticut Sew & Vac as a sewing instructor. She was a director and the secretary of the Bethlehem Fair Society.
Mrs. Fuhrman is survived by her son, Richard Fuhrman; her daughter-in-law Norma Fuhrman; five grandchildren, Brandie Fuhrman, Bryan Fuhrman and his partner Angie Handschumacher, Robert Fuhrman and his wife Cailun, Hector Madera and his wife Monica, and Marlene Parker and her husband Drew; nine great grandchildren, Brianna, Aaliyah, Brooklyn, Robert Jr., Ella, Mila, Jason, London, and Alydia; and a great great grandson, Jackson.
Funeral services and burial are private and at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. The Hickcox Funeral Home, 195 Main St., Watertown, is in charge of the arrangements.
