Naugatuck, CT - Corrine Charlotte Allen, 80, wife of Robert B. Allen, died October 24, 2022 at Waterbury Hospital surrounded by loving family.

Corrine was born March 31, 1942 in New Haven, CT daughter of the late William O. and Marion (Nieder) Gordon. Corrine was a graduate of West Haven High School, Class of 1959 and worked in banking at Mattatuck Savings Bank and also worked as a machine operator at Lewis Engineering, retiring in 1994.

Corrine was a member of the Red Hat Society, American Legion Auxiliary in Florida and Rainbow Springs Country Club in Dunnellon, Florida. Most importantly, she was a proud, loving, full time Mom and Grandma.

In addition to Bob, her husband of 60 years, Corrine is survived by her daughter and son in law, Deborah J. (Allen) Bender and Jeffrey Bender of Plantsville; her son and daughter in law, Robert W. Allen and Michelle Lawlor Allen of Naugatuck; her sister, Dolores Zacker; her grandchildren, Brittany Allen (Ervis Kambo) of Waterbury; Jordyn Allen of Naugatuck; Erich Bender (Rachel Mouris) of Southington; Kendall Allen of Naugatuck and her great grandson, Carson Woodall of Naugatuck.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at 11:00am at the Buckmiller Thurston Mengacci Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Avenue, Naugatuck. Calling hours are Tuesday from 9:00 to 11:00am at the funeral home.
