WATERBURY, CT - Dorie D. Nido, age 62 of Waterbury passed away peacefully November 8, 2020 at her home. She was the beloved wife of Michael Nido.
Dorie was born February 16, 1958 Waterbury, a daughter of the late Gerard and Frances (Blake) DeLage. She was a graduate of Crosby High School. Dorie had worked for many years as a residential counsellor at area group homes. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who cherished time spent with her family.

Besides her loving husband of 35 years of Waterbury, she leaves two daughters Nora Nido and Geri Nido, both of Waterbury, her sisters Diane Gow of Prospect, Darlene DeLage of Waterbury, her 2 grandchildren Madyson Bock and Jayson Jones.
Arrangements: Funeral services for Dorie will be held on Monday November 16, 2020 at 7 p.m. at Chase Parkway Memorial/Albini Family Funeral Home, 430 Chase Parkway, Waterbury. Burial will be private and at the convenience of her family. Calling hours will be held Monday from 4 to 7 p.m.
