Obituary: Dorris June Skillings Blasl, formerly of Naugatuck
Dorris held several positions as a screw machine operator in Beacon Falls and Naugatuck after her children left home.

WATERTOWN- Dorris June Skillings Blasl, formerly of Naugatuck, passed away peacefully at 12:35 AM, November 26, 2020.
The widow of Homer E. Blasl, she was born June 5, 1927 in Embden, Maine. The eldest child of Clifton & Amber (Colby) Skillings’ six children. She is survived by two of her three sons, Bruce of Wolcott and Brian of Prospect. The third son Dennis passed away Nov 28, 2015. Four granddaughters, three grandsons, four step grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.

She held several positions as a screw machine operator in Beacon Falls and Naugatuck after her children left home. She was also an extremely active member of the South Congregational Church on Piedmont Street in Waterbury.
Due to the pandemic, a memorial service will be held at a later date.
