Durell was an information technician and was also employed by the City of Waterbury in the school system.

Durell O’Neil Anderson, 27 of Waterbury, Connecticut died unexpectedly. He was the son of Michael and Susan Anderson of Waterbury.

Durell was born January 21st, 1995 in Waterbury. He was educated in the Waterbury school system, graduated from Crosby High School, class of 2013. Durell was an information technician and was also employed by the City of Waterbury in the school system. He enjoyed being outdoors enjoying nature, his cats, music, dancing, cooking, riding his bike, skateboarding and video games.

Survived by his parents, three brothers: Micheal and Jamari Anderson, Antwan Brown, two sisters Sheneese and Natalee Anderson. He is survived by his paternal grandparents Lucetta Thompson and Veronica Riley. Step-mothers Beulah Anderson and Yvette Toro. Step-brother Marlon Davis and daughter in-law Jiani Anderson. Ian and Geraldine Clarke, Joy Gordon, Garth and Michelle Wright, Jacqueline Cusaac, Dotsilyn and Sher McDonald. Cousins, Jahmal, Dondre,Myles, and Jordan Clarke. Joel Gordon, Jodi Gray, and Jordan Speaks. Also, Kristy, Carey, and Tyler Wright. Kamau, Sekou, Adjua, and Sakile Cusaac. Tiana and Kiana Strong, Michelle McDonald. Godparents Felicia Andrews ,Melissa McCraw, Rosiemarie Gordon and several other family and friends.

Celebration of life will be held on Sunday April 24, 2022 at 3:00pm until 1am. At Mikey’s Jamaican restaurant 736 East main street Waterbury CT. Services will be held at Colonial Funerals, 270 West Main Street, Waterbury, Ct, on Wednesday April 27, 2022 11am. Calling hours from 9am to time of service. Followed by the repass at Mikey’s Jamaican Restaurant, 736 East Main street, Waterbury, CT 06702. Burial at the convenience of the family.
