Obituary: Edward Joseph Greco

Edward Joseph Greco, age 84, of Naugatuck entered into rest on Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at Gardner Heights with his loving wife by his side.

He was the devoted husband of 32 years to Denise (Dunn) Greco. Edward was born in Bridgeport on July 8, 1937, son of the late Sam and Stella (Savage) Greco. Edward was a longtime Shelton resident before moving to Florida where he resided for 19 years. In 2019, Edward and Denise moved to Naugatuck. He owned and operated Advanced Grinding in Bridgeport before he relocated his company to Orange where he worked until his retirement. When Edward was younger he obtained his pilot license. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing and outdoor activities.

Edward was the beloved father of Edward Greco and his late wife Phyllis, Gary Greco and his wife Suzanne and Steven Greco, step-father of Mark Porzelt and his wife Kathleen, loving grandfather of Jaime Parks and her husband Keith, Corey Greco and his wife Diana, Kristin Greco, Gabriella Greco, Jacqueline Greco and Zander Porzelt and great grandfather of Taylor and Zoey. Edward was also survived by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother Joseph Greco and two sisters, Margaret Vareha and Katherine Duzak.

Edward’s funeral will be private.
