“Beloved Husband”
PROSPECT - Mr. Edward “Teddy” Wedge, 79 of Prospect, passed away peacefully at St. Mary’s Hospital VITAS on Saturday, November 6, 2021. He was the husband of Donna Marie (Caputo) Wedge.

Teddy was born in Waterbury on August 16, 1942, son of the late Edward Wedge and Rita (Emons) Wedge Blum. He was a graduate of Croft High School, Class of 1960. He was the owner and operator of Teddy’s Garage from the 1960’s until his retirement. He was an avid car enthusiast, and enjoyed fixing and working on cars, especially loved his Ford Galaxie 500.
Besides his wife Donna of 54 years, Teddy leaves; two brother-in-law’s, John Caputo and his wife Maria of Waterbury, and James Caputo and his wife Jane of Sharon; four nieces, Denise Picard and her husband Tom of Waterbury, Jo-Ann LoRusso and her husband Vincent of Middlebury, Laura Caputo of Winter Garden, FL, and Gina Van Deusen and her husband Matt of Lisbon Falls, Maine; as well as several cousins and a host of former customers whom he thought of as friends.

Arrangements: A funeral service will be celebrated Wednesday November 10, 2021 at 11 a.m. at Chase Parkway Memorial/The Albini Family Funeral Home, 430 Chase Parkway, Waterbury. Calling hour will be held Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. A private burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
