Elizabeth was a proud Connecticut educator who loved her students; she taught for 30 years until her retirement in 2012.

WOLCOTT - Elizabeth Ann (DelGaizo) Molleur of Wolcott, 71, peacefully entered into eternal rest on November 28, 2021.


Elizabeth was born in Waterbury, CT on February, 15, 1950 to Joseph and Esther (Hardy) DelGaizo. She was raised in Middlebury, CT where she experienced a wonderful childhood, loved by her doting parents. There she met her husband, Gregory M. Molleur, whom she married in 1996.

She was a proud Connecticut educator who loved her students. Elizabeth taught for 30 years until her retirement in 2012.


Elizabeth’s family was her pride and joy. She loved her children and her greatest happiness came from being “Noni” to her grandchildren.

Elizabeth loved spending time in the kitchen. Baking for her family and neighbors was Elizabeth’s way of showing them all how special they were to her. Elizabeth is finally reunited in heaven with her mother and father, whom she greatly missed. She leaves behind her loving husband, Gregory M. Molleur. She is survived by her children, Henry Joseph Zelek; Sarah Patricia Zelek; David Rodrigues; Shawn Michael Zelek; and her two step children, Danielle Molleur Ribeiro and Gregory Molleur. She also leaves behind her grandchildren Albino DelGaizo, Jacob Author, Anabella, Rosamaria, Emilia Magdalena, Jack Joseph, William Peter, Alexis Taylor, Alanna Christine, Alicia and Luke.


Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, December 3, 2021 at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 309 South Main Street in Waterbury. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Everyone is asked to meet directly at the church.


In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Elizabeth’s name to: Alzheimer’s Association, 2075 Silas Deane Highway, Rocky Hill, CT 06067.
