Naugatuck - Fausto C. Gaspar, 90, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 2, 2024, in his home. He was the husband of Maria (DaSilva) Gaspar.

Mr. Gaspar was born April 17, 1934, in Portugal, the son of the late Antonio and Emilia (Gomes) Gaspar. He came to the U.S. in 1977, settling in Naugatuck. He was a Mattress Maker for Restopedic Mattress until his retirement in the late 1990s. Family was always the center of his life, and he truly enjoyed cooking and sitting around the dinner table sharing memories. He was a member of the Terryville Gospel Hall and cherished his time worshipping his Savior the Lord Jesus Christ.

Besides his beloved wife, he is survived by his children Madalena Antonucci and her husband Joe, Emilia Pabon and her husband Angel, Irene LaRoe and her husband Peter, Sara Hoyt and her husband Tom, Jose Gaspar and his wife Rita, Isabel Antonucci and her husband Peter, Cristina Neidt, and Marco Gaspar and his wife Marcia; his daughter-in-law Lurdes Gaspar; 16 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his sons Joel and Joao Paulo Gaspar.

Arrangements – Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 6, 2024, from 9 to 11 am at the Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Naugatuck, 201 Meadow St. At 11 am a prayer service will be held before the procession to Grove Cemetery for committal services.
