Obituary: Fernande 'Fern' Drapeau, 88, Of Naugatuck

Mrs. Fernande "Fern" Drapeau, widow of Raymond Drapeau, passed away peacefully at home on November 4, 2023 surrounded by her family.

Fern was born March 5, 1935, in Berlin, N.H., a daughter of the late Romeo Tremblay and Jeanne (Salvas) Tremblay and had been a resident of Naugatuck since 1961.

Fern leaves behind two sons, Steven and Barry Drapeau both of Naugatuck, CT; four grandchildren, Amber, Cassidy, Brian, and Breanna and two great-grandchildren, Chance and Mason; two sisters, Theresa McAllister and pre-deceased by Jeannette Cote of Gorham, NH; three brothers, Romeo, Robert and Paul Tremblay of Berlin, NH and many nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, November 10, 2023 at 10 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 318 Church Street, Naugatuck, CT. Everyone attending Mass is kindly asked to please meet directly at church. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery, Cross Street, Naugatuck, CT.
