He was a graduate of Watertown High School & held an Associate's Degree from Mattatuck Community College. He was a proud U.S. Army veteran.

Francis “Frank” R. Brevetti
Watertown, CT - Francis “Frank” R. Brevetti, age 76, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at Waterbury Hospital. He was the husband of the late Julie (Haddad) Brevetti.
Frank was born on December 14, 1944, in Waterbury, son of the late Louis and Rose (Mango) Brevetti. He was a graduate of Watertown High School and held an Associate’s Degree from Mattatuck Community College. He was a proud U.S. Army veteran having served in Vietnam. Frank worked as a police officer for the city of Waterbury for 26 years. Frank was an avid football fan and loved a good card game. He enjoyed attending Watertown Football games where he was well known for his famous line, “Hit Somebody!”. He was happiest spending time with his family, especially with his grandchildren. “MAGA”

Frank is survived by his son Francis P. Brevetti and his wife Adrienne of Watertown and his beloved grandchildren Frankie Brevetti, Jr. and Olivia Brevetti of Watertown. He also leaves his brother Louis J. Brevetti and his wife Marilyn of Wolcott as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to his beloved wife, Frank was predeceased by his brother John L. Brevetti.
Frank’s family would like to thank Joann, Rosalyn, Chuck, Larry D., Larry W. and Boucher for their lifelong friendships and for always being there for him. A special thanks to Kim Lumia for being their angel here on earth.
His funeral will be held on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at 9:00 AM at Maiorano Funeral Home, 95 Willow Street in Waterbury, with a service beginning at 9:30 AM. Walk-through calling hours will be held on Monday evening from 5:00-8:00pm. Everyone attending will be required to wear face masks and social distancing guidelines will be strictly followed.
