Obituary: Gerald P. “Jerry” Miller, 85, Formerly of Naugatuck

He was a Teacher at W.F. Kaynor Technical High School for many years as well as working as a licensed Electrician.

Gerald "Jerry" Miller

Naugatuck - Gerald P. “Jerry” Miller, 85, passed away on Saturday, December 17, 2022, at Seacrest Assisted Living in West Haven. He was the husband of the late Josephine (Murphy) Miller.

Mr. Miller was born September 25, 1937, in Derby, the son of the late Edward and Doris (Smith) Miller. He was raised in Newtown and proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He was a Teacher at W.F. Kaynor Technical High School for many years as well as working as a licensed Electrician. Before moving to Cape Cod in 2000, he resided in Naugatuck. The ultimate family man, he was known for his love of dogs.

Mr. Miller is survived by his children Jennifer Miller of Southington, John Miller and his wife Tara of Cheshire; his sister Beverly Weir; and his grandchildren Dakota, Neve, and Cash Miller. He was predeceased by his brother Frank and sister Betsy.

Arrangements – Visitation will be held on Monday, January 9, 2022, from 4 to 6 pm at the Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 S. Main St. Funeral services and committal will be held at the convenience of the family.
