Oakville, CT - Grace M. (Raczkowski) Butkievich, age 83, of Oakville, passed away peacefully on January 1, 2021 at the VITAS Hospice Unit at St. Mary’s Hospital. She was the beloved widow of John W. Butkievich.

Grace was born in Waterbury, CT on September 5, 1937 daughter of the late William and Mary (Lukosevicius) Raczkowski. Before her retirement, she worked as a customer service representative for the Barber Insurance Agency in Cheshire, CT. She loved to play cards. Most important to Grace was her love for her family, especially her grandchildren.

Grace is survived by her sons, Thomas Yarosis and his wife, Gina of Port Charlotte, FL, James Yarosis and his wife, Tina of New Milford, CT, daughter, Laura A, Smith and her husband, Jimmy of Amherst, OH, grandchildren, Erica Lozinski and her husband, Mike, Thomas “TJ” Yarosis and his wife, Kelli, Nick Yarosis and his fiancé, Raeghan Steelburg, Natalie Deleo and Stephanie Dibona and three great grandchildren, Oliver Lozinski, Kayson and Kallyn Albertson. She also leaves her brother Joseph Raczkowski of Waterbury, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, Bill and Ed Raczkowski and sister, Shirly Donahue.
