Hannelore “Honey” (Wolgast) Lovell, 80, of Naugatuck, passed away on November 6, 2020 at Vitas at St. Mary’s Hospital. She was the loving wife of Earl W. Lovell for over 59 years.
She was born on February 4, 1940, in Tegernsee, Germany, daughter of the late Heinrich and Theresa (Renshoffer) Wolgast. Prior to her retirement, Honey worked for Peter Paul Cadbury and Lifetouch. In her spare time, she loved to do arts and crafts, read, garden, and go bowling. She also was an avid Huskies fan for UConn Women’s Basketball.

Besides her husband, Honey is survived by her children Janette Nichols, Henry Lovell, and Daniel Lovell and wife Jackie and three grandchildren Steven Nichols, Brendan Nichols and her special Schatzie Cassandra “Cassie” Lovell. She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews living in Germany.

She was predeceased by a son James Lovell and three brothers.
A graveside service will be held at 10 am on Friday, November 13, 2020 at St. James Cemetery, Naugatuck. There are no calling hours. Prospect Memorial Funeral Home, 72 Waterbury Rd., Prospect is assisting the family with arrangements.
