Bristol, CT - It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Heather Lynn Combest-Lokites, age 36 of Bristol. Heather passed away peacefully on December 29, 2020 at Hartford Hospital. Heather is survived by her wife of 9 years, Candy Combest-Lokites, her mother Carol Lokites and boyfriend Rodney, grandmother Hedwig Aleksinas whom she lovingly called Nanny, as well as her sister-in-law Ronnie Combest, niece Alex Combest, step sons Samuel and Josue. Heather also leaves many family members and friends, and her beloved dog Destiny.
Heather was born January 18, 1984, the only daughter of Carol Lokites and the late Robert Lokites. She was a graduate of Kennedy High School. Heather was a personal care assistant working with Ronnie Combest. She was a long-time member of the American Legion Post 165 in Wolcott, the LVAD Warriors on Facebook and a member of the Southington Relay for Life Team. Heather loved being with her family and many friends, playing bingo and planning vacations to the beach and Florida, as well as going to the casino. Heather was well known for her infectious smile and laugh as well as her wit.

Heather was preceded in death by her father Robert Lokites and her grandfather Bronis Aleksinas, as well as her aunt Celia Forget, and cousin Julie Shedwary.
Arrangements: Funeral Thursday, January 7, 2021 at 11 a.m. at Chase Parkway Memorial/Albini Family Funeral Home, 430 Chase Parkway, Waterbury. Burial will follow at Saint James Cemetery in Naugatuck at 12 noon. Calling hours Wednesday, January 6, 2021 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
