Helen Ann (Doner) Tuccillo, 77, of Prospect passed away on Wednesday, January 19, 2022. Helen was the widow of her beloved Daniel Tuccillo. She was born January 29, 1944 in Waterbury, a daughter of the late Harry and Gertrude (Tanner) Doner.
Helen and her husband Dan, her soulmate, were a dynamic team. The sun rose and set on her family. They were members of the Harness Horseman’s Association of New England (HHANE). Helen was Dan’s number one fan where as owner and jockey, Dan would compete in harness races all over the country. She enjoyed riding motorcycles, even riding her own to Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in South Dakota. Helen was a wonderfully multifaceted woman. Most assuredly though, the focus of her life was her family. Helen was a wonderful mother. Daniel and Bernadette have so many treasured moments of traveling together, Sunday dinners and holidays. Helen loved spending time with her grandchildren, they were the light of her life.
