Wolcott – Helen Milton, 81, passed away on Wednesday, November 25, 2020. She was the beloved wife of Frederick L. Milton, Jr.

Helen was born in Oakville on January 30, 1939, daughter of Joseph and Susan (Ciarleglio) Amabile. Helen was a Past President and member of the Wolcott Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary Company 3. She worked as a receptionist for the Wolcott Town Hall for 25 years. Helen took pride in caring for her family and loved to cook for them. Her greatest joy were her 3 cherished grandchildren.

Including her beloved husband of 60 years, Fred, Helen will be missed by her son, Michael Milton, and his wife, Stephanie; her 3 grandchildren, Joseph Milton; Michael Milton, Jr.; and Margaret Milton; her nieces and nephew, April Benoit; Sharon Faressa; and Richard Christopher; and her extended family.

Helen was predeceased by her children, Susan Milton, and Frederick L. Milton III; and her siblings, James Amabile; Mary Christopher; and Connie Cipullo.

A walk-through visitation will be held on Sunday, November 29 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Road, Wolcott. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Pius X Church, 525 Woodtick Road, Wolcott. Meet directly at church. Burial will be held privately.

Masks and social distancing are required during all services.
