NAUGATUCK – Helen Mis Eibensteiner, 94, passed away Monday, April 18, 2023 at Autumn Lake Healthcare at Bucks Hill. She was the wife of the late Walter Eibensteiner.
Mrs. Eibensteiner was born December 17, 1928, in Beacon Falls, daughter of the late Walter and Mary (Kaminski) Mis. She was a 1946 graduate of Naugatuck High School and was retired from Homer D. Bronson Company after thirty-eight years of service. She also served as organist and choir director for the Beacon Falls Congregational Church and the Holy Saviour Polish National Church in Naugatuck.

In her retirement, Helen and Walter spent over thirty years of marriage living on Cape Cod. In 2018, Helen returned to her family roots in Beacon Falls.
Helen loved her family. She enjoyed family visits, celebrating holidays, special occasions, and phone calls with everyone.

In addition to her husband and parents, Helen was predeceased by her sisters, Josephine (Lucien) Granica, and Sadie (Zigmond) Dombroski, and hew nephew, RADM John Dombroski. She will also be missed by her nieces and nephews, Heidi (James) Hogan, Andrea Redden, Lucien (Theresa Frappier) Granica, and Julie Ann Dombroski., and her Cape Cod friends, Martha, Terry, Alison, Helen, George, and Marianne. She also leaves behind James and Julie, Michael and Lici, Denise and Christopher, Gina and Scott, Jordan, Theresa, Lucien, Christine and Sean, Matthew and Tori, James, Brendan and Paige, Chance, Beau, Shea, Molly, Elizabeth, Abby, Daniel, Andrew and Marisa, Samantha, Lucien, Lennon, Ann Elizabeth, Jonathan, Savannah, and her step-daughter, Gail (Ernest) Mannel and her son, David (Candice) Mannel, and their four children.
Arrangements: Per Helen’s wishes, services are private and will be held at the convenience of her family. There are no calling hours and the Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Naugatuck is assisting with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions, in her name, may be made to Beacon Falls Congregational Church, 69 Wolfe Ave, Beacon Falls, CT 06403, or, Beacon Hose Co.
