Obituary: Jacqueline Mary Klies, 81, of Naugatuck

Naugatuck – Jacqueline Mary Klies, 81, was born on August 12, 1942 in Waterbury, Connecticut. She was the daughter of Herman W. Klies and Eva B. Klies.

Jackie was a Nun in the convent for 12 years. She was the special education consultant for Sandy Hook and Newtown, CT until her retirement. Jackie traveled around the world preaching the word of God.

Jackie is survived by her sisters; Edinna (Klies) Cross (Ralph) and Heidi Klies, 7 nephews, Ralph H. Cross (Toni), Jason Goldberg (Cassie), Chris Goldberg, Aaron Goldberg, Sean Welch, Frederick W. Klies Jr. and Eric J. Klies. Jackie is predeceased by her parents, her brother, Frederick W. Klies, Sr. and a nephew, James R. Cross.

The family wishes to thank Dr. Loreen Daigle and Linda Ajello-Lique and Beacon Brook Health Care Center. Without them we would not have survived.

Inurnment will take place on Thursday, October 12, 2023 at 11:30 a.m. in Calvary Garden Mausoleum, 2324 East Main Street, Waterbury, CT 06705.
