Obituary: James D. Loughlin, 60, Of Naugatuck
A lifelong resident of Naugatuck, he was a pit crew member in the pro stock and modified racing circuit.

James D. Loughlin, 60, passed away on Sunday, November 5, 2023, at St. Mary's Hospital surrounded by his family.
James was born November 30, 1962, in Waterbury, the son of Robert and Patricia (Remokitis) Loughlin. James was a jack of all trades, he was skilled in carpentry, roofing and siding, and mechanics and enjoyed tinkering with anything and everything.

A lifelong resident of Naugatuck, he graduated from Naugatuck High School, Class of 1981. He enjoyed spending time with his family and close friends. He was known for his love of Mustangs and older cars, Harley’s, and fishing. Alongside his brother Robert, he was a Pit Crew member in the pro stock and modified racing circuit.
Besides his parents, he is survived by his children James Loughlin of ME, Heather Boyce of ME, and Samantha Anderson of FL; his brothers Robert Loughlin Jr. and Mark Loughlin; and his sister Dawn Loughlin-Lango all of Naugatuck; his grandchildren Jace Sullivan of FL and Chase Boyce of ME; as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

Arrangements – Visitation will be held on Friday, November 10, 2023, from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Naugatuck, 201 Meadow St. At 10 a.m., a service will be held at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Grove Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675-8517.
