Obituary: James Julian Charette, 75, Of Prospect

He was a retired screw machine operator and had worked at Bic Pen, Devon Manufacturing and Amphenol Corporation.

James Julian Charette, 75, of Prospect, died Wednesday, March 27th, 2024 at St. Marys Hospital in Waterbury. He was the beloved husband of Tammy (Goss) Charette.

James was born in Fort Kent, Maine August 5th, 1948, son of the late Joseph J. and Rita (Caron) Charette. He was a retired screw machine operator, and had worked at Bic Pen, Devon Manufacturing and Amphenol Corporation. He enjoyed spending time at the senior center and playing cards.

In addition to his wife James leaves his daughters Lorilee Giola of Torrington, Dawn (Paul) Kirschner of Coventry, Becky Charette of Bristol, Sarah Bernier (Charlie) of Wolcott, son in law Peter Bernier (Stephanie) of Prospect, sisters Arlene (Kent) Johns of Florida, Robin (Rich) Budzinovski of Naugatuck, and Lisa (Maurice) Hebert of Fort Kent Maine, sister in law Laura Charette of Florida, grandsons Sammy, Nathan, Jared, Austin and Logan, great grandson Theodore and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister Carol (George) Trosky and his brother Bob Charette.

ARRANGEMENTS- Friends may call at Naugatuck Valley Memorial Fitzgerald-Zembruski Funeral Home, 240 North Main Street, Naugatuck on Wednesday, April 3rd , 2024 from 5 p.m. to 7 p. m. Immediate family are invited to attend at 4 p.m.
