Obituary: Jason McCann, 51, Formerly of Naugatuck

DELAND, Fla. – Jason McCann, 51, of Deland, Fla., passed away May 20, 2023. He was the son of Valerie (Swenor) (McCann) Dixon.

He attended schools in Waterbury and Naugatuck and was a graduate of Naugatuck High School, class of 1990.

Besides his mother, he leaves a brother Gerry; his maternal grandparents, Katie and Al Fleck of Naugatuck, and paternal grandfather Theron Swenor; and four nephews, one niece, and several aunts and uncles, and cousins.

He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Frances and Marshall McCann and his stepfather, Chuck Dixon.

There will be a celebration of his life Saturday, Aug. 12, at Jessie Camille’s Restaurant, 615 N. Church St., Naugatuck. Please contact Katie Fleck or Dave Rotatori for confirmation of attendance.
