John was born on June 11, 1926 in Waterbury, son of the late Thomas and Mary Louise (Claps) Rosa. He attended Leavenworth High School and was a proud U.S. Army veteran having served during WWII. Above all, he was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather and was happiest with his family.
