Obituary: Joseph Albon, 66, Of Prospect

Joe worked as a parts manager for Chase Parkway Subaru for 40 years and retired in 2021 from Colonial Subaru in Danbury.

Joseph J. Albon, 66, husband of Patricia A. “Trish” Albon, died May 30, 2022 at his home.

Joe was born August 12, 1955 in Waterbury, CT son of the late William C. and Margaret (Simon) Albon. Joe was raised in Wolcott, graduated from Kaynor Technical High School and had lived in Prospect for the past 30 years. Joe worked as a parts manager for Chase Parkway Subaru for 40 years and retired in 2021 from Colonial Subaru in Danbury. Joe loved salt water fishing, especially in Old Saybrook.

In addition to Trish, his loving wife of 20 years, Joe is survived by his son, Jamie J. Albon; his sister, Peg Cozza and his brother in law, Joe Cozza; his many nieces and nephews and his sister in law, Florence Albon. In addition to his parents, Joe was predeceased by his brother, Bill Albon.

A Memorial Service will be held Monday, June 6, 2022 at 11 a.m. at Union Congregational Church, 167 Buckingham Street, Oakville, CT. Family and friends may call at the church Monday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Buckmiller Thurston Mengacci Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Avenue, Naugatuck.
